Pues eso. No os hagáis ilusiones.
Sigma ha publicado un comunicado oficial en su web donde informa que las incompatibilidades entre algunos de sus objetivos y la Nikon D5300 se extiende ahora también a la Nikon Df. Algunos de vosotros os quejasteis en los comentarios de otros artículos de que también hay problemas con la Nikon D7100, así que ya no es una casualidad ni un error. Es una pandemia.
Para los que no lo recordéis simplemente apunto que el problema afecta al enfoque y al sistema de estabilización que no funcionan correctamente.
Sigma dice que sacará nuevos «firmwares» para los objetivos en que sea posible la actualización, pero para todos los demás remite al usuario a cualquier SAT de Sigma, a ver que le cuentan.
Como no es muy largo, os copio aquí lo que cuenta «Dpreview» que cuenta Sigma.
Information Regarding Nikon Df Cameras
Thank you very much for purchasing and using Sigma products.
We have found that the current firmware of our Nikon fitting interchangeable lenses may not work properly with the Nikon Df camera’s OS and Auto Focus functions.
This is similar to the phenomena described in «Information Regarding the Nikon D5300 Cameras» that we have announced on November 19th.
However, for the Nikon Df cameras, it includes those lenses that do not have an internal AF motor, and the following products will require a firmware update.
For those customers who use Sigma lenses in Nikon mount with the Nikon Df camera, we are going to provide a free firmware update.
Please note that all the products we dispatch from the factory will have the latest firmware.
Phenomenon
Without the latest firmware, the OS and Auto Focus functions do not work properly when it is used with the Nikon Df.
Concerned Products
Nikon fitting interchangeable lenses not yet updated for the Nikon D5300 camera.

Y aquí tenéis unos episodios anteriores:
Mal rollo, y yo al menos sigo sin saber a quien echar la culpa.
La culpa es de ambos, pero el único que se beneficia es Nikon. A partir de esa realidad palpable es más fácil entender el baile en cuestión.
Confirmado, con el sigma 18-35 f1.8 art tambien pasa.. cuando me llegó hace poco era feliz poseedor del objetivo pero con mi nikon d5100 da problemas de enfoque,bloquea el disparo de la cámara, supongo yo que en estas cosas antes de sacarlas a la venta ha de pasar unos controles de calidad, puestos a echar las culpas esta vez se las echo a sigma por el lanzamiento tardío de dicho objetivo para montura nikon.
